I’m excited to reveal the cover and title of my soon-to-be-released novella!
I just finished the second draft of the manuscript. It comes in at 26K words, and has been sent to my editor.
The novella features another of Pearl Tham's early adventures. Pearl is the half sister of Joe Tham, the feng shui consultant in my Geomancer’s Apprentice series.
Under a Hunter’s Moon is the sequel to Offerings for the Dead. These adventures are fun, fast-paced, and action-oriented. I may bundle the stories later and release them for sale. For now, however, they’re newsletter exclusives and free for subscribers.

PEARL THAM: A BRIEF RECAP
Who is she?
Feng shui practitioner Joe Tham’s badass half sister.
Occupation?
Art thief, grave robber.
What’s her deal?
Pearl bitterly resents the Tham family because of the way she and her mother were treated. She has some of the same abilities as Junie Soong, my Geomancer female protagonist. Pearl was trained by her father, the Golden Dragon, until she turned 15, when he decided her character faults made her unworthy of being a Dragon warrior.
Weapons of choice?
She loves swords. Her main weapon is the katana. She also is proficient with the wakizashi and tanto, two other traditional Japanese swords, and with the shuriken (ninja throwing star). She has been known to use a gun.
